Support for Parents & Families
Parenting a struggling child can feel isolating and confusing. You've tried everything you can think of, and nothing seems to work. You're not failing — you're facing something that requires a different approach.
When Parenting Feels Impossible
When a child is anxious, withdrawn, or acting out, the whole family feels it. You may be walking on eggshells, arguing with your partner about how to respond, or exhausted from the emotional weight of it all. These patterns are more common than you think — and they can change.
SPACE: A Different Kind of Parent Support
I am certified in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), an evidence-based approach developed at the Yale Child Study Center. SPACE works with parents directly — even when the child isn't in therapy. It helps parents shift the patterns that maintain their child's anxiety, reducing accommodations and building the child's ability to tolerate distress. Research shows SPACE is as effective as CBT for childhood anxiety.
How I Work with Parents
I work with parents individually, as couples, or alongside their child's therapy. Together, we identify the cycles keeping your family stuck, build concrete strategies you can use at home, and create a more connected family dynamic. As a parent of young adults, I bring clinical training and lived experience to this work.
You don't have to figure this out alone. Let's talk about what your family needs.
