Therapy for Teens & Adolescents
The teenage years can feel overwhelming — for teens and for the people who love them. If your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or the weight of growing up, therapy can help.
What Teens Are Experiencing
Adolescence brings a wave of change — social pressure, academic stress, identity questions, and emotions that can feel impossible to manage. Many teens withdraw, act out, or shut down because they don't yet have the tools to process what they're feeling. That's not a failure. It's a normal part of development, and therapy can help.
How I Work with Teens
I create a space where teens feel safe to talk openly — without judgment, without pressure. Together we explore what's driving their emotions and behavior, build coping strategies, and develop a stronger sense of self. I meet teens where they are, not where adults think they should be.
What Change Can Look Like
Teens in therapy often develop better emotional regulation, stronger communication with family, more self-awareness, and more confidence in navigating challenges. The goal is to help your teen understand themselves and build the skills to thrive.
If you're concerned about your teen, I'd love to talk.
